997. How You Do Anything Is How You Do Everything.

You can learn a lot about yourself by examining the way you interact with the world around you.

Derek Silvers says it best in one of his blog posts (Character predicts your future):

How you do anything is how you do everything. Your “character” or “nature” just refers to how you handle all the day-to-day things in life, no matter how small.

When you do chores at home do you:

  • Cut corners?
  • Do the minimum?
  • Complain?
  • Strive for perfection?
  • Break new ground?

Chances are that the answers to the above will re-appear in many other aspects of your life including the way you treat your body, career, and relationships.

Once you are aware of the re-occurring patterns in your life, you can break the cycle of repetition.

The smallest changes leads to the biggest results. The power is yours.
